An eclectic structure of curving wood combined with hot-rolled steel acting as a counterweight to an unadorned rod composed of an advanced engineered acrylic. This acrylic, that was originally designed for architectural installations, is formulated with transparent scattering particles. The rod is transparent when un-illuminated but appears to glow uniformly when illuminated by a 2000 lumen LED chip.
